WRITING TOOLS

Sky Grass and Dirt Paper

A handy set of line guides for your children to use to help them form their letters correctly. These guides are more useful for slightly older children, as the lines are slightly narrower. Please see our other lovely line guide resources too!

What do the 5 W’s stand for?

One of the best practices for writers is to follow “The 5 W’s” guideline, by investigating the Who, What, Where, When and Why of a story.

Using this worksheet, students can take note of what they’re reading. This worksheet has 5 boxes – one for who, what, when, where, and how.

Mind Map

A mind map is a visual diagram used to organise data or information around a single concept or topic. It is a great memorisation tool and useful for revision.
