PHONOLOGICAL AWARENESS

Florida Centre for Reading Research is a great website to find out information and get free resources for Preschool to Year 6 in New Zealand.

From 2004 to 2010, a team of researchers and teachers at FCRR collected ideas and created Student Center Activities for use in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade classrooms. The activities are designed for students to practice, demonstrate, and extend their learning of what has already been taught, sometimes with teacher assistance and sometimes independently. Students can complete the activities in small groups, pairs, or individually.

The Ultimate Guide to Phonological Awareness‘ was developed by Essex County Council as a free resource to help school staff better understand the stages of phonological awareness and to provide structured activities and materials that can be used to teach early phonological awareness skills.
